A few people at the Spokes Council in Brooklyn tonight, the evening before the three month anniversary of Occupy Wall Street, posted this photo to Twitter. Take a look:

The Declaration of Occupation of NYC

“Let’s acknowledge the reality: the future of the human race requires the cooperation of it’s members.  Our increasingly interconnected world obscures the underlying trying that all of our grievances are connected.”

“Let us not be weighed down by the complexity of our situation, but united by its singularity as we reestablish a system that protects our rights.”

Some of the grievances they’re airing? Consolidation of information without accountability.  Overconsolidation of power. $=power.  Too much $, too few hands. Straight up corruption. Disregard for human dignity. Ecological responsibility. Lack of transparency. Shock doctrine. Unjust profits off of public services.

ALSO: Vested interest in maintaining status quo.

Yep.

Thanks @DiceyTroop and @carriem213 and @shawncarrie.
